Success At The InfoComm Trade Show

InfoComm 2011

The Foundation is eager to begin our expanded education program to include the opportunity for young people to record their music, and we are working daily at securing audio equipment for the studios. A Foundation representative attended the InfoComm tradeshow in Orlando to present our idea to manufacturers and request their support. He reports a positive response from manufacturers, and though no one can afford to donate expensive equipment in today’s market, they all offered to do what they could to help.

Our process is to present a request to each manufacturer and secure the lowest price. The manufacturer sends the agreement to a supplier who passes the savings on to the Foundation in a quote. The Foundation then pursues funding for the purchase. This is a stepwise process and takes time, however it is how we can manage the budget.

We look forward to posting our acquisitions with acknowledgement to the manufacturer.
